Oaks of Righteousness

A faith-based residential facility that offers support for female ex-offenders, as they work to become productive members of society.  

We invite you to join us as we tell the stories of the women of the Oaks through their words, echoed in the words of songs with American roots. The songs include examples of Native American chant, Appalachian folk singing, familiar hymns of Shaker New England, southern gospel songs and spirituals, pop ballads, and contemporary songs of inspiration.   With a message of unity and optimism, this music highlights the varied cultural influences that make up the melting pot of America.
