Sola Gratia's spring concert series was a rousing success! With two concerts on successive days, we sang to a record audience, meeting our goals of
raising awareness of Sola Gratia in a new community, Atascocita Methodist Church, whose members welcomed us with open arms, promoted the concert, and provided a decadent reception for a receptive and enthusiastic audience!
partnering with Vox Cantus, of Riverwood Middle School, under the direction of Jason Hesslein, demonstrating to these young singers that choral singing is a lifelong skill that enhances the communities we live in
and raised $19,539 for Oaks of Righeousness, which was matched by a donor for a total of $39,078, nearly 1 month of operating funds for the Oaks!
Sola Gratia's new rehearsal season begins August 27, 2026.

Sola Gratia, whose name means “by grace alone,” is an ecumenical women's choir dedicated to spreading the message of love and grace through the universal language of music. We strive for excellence in our performances as we aim to inspire audiences and support diverse ministries and community groups.
The group is composed of women of all ages and musical backgrounds. Our work consists of concerts to support local ministries, as well as providing music for events throughout the northeast Houston area.
Sola Gratia is directed by founder, soprano, and pianist, Meredith Koerner. Pianist Sergei Kuznetsov accompanies the choir and brings unparalleled sensitivity and musicianship to the choir's sound.
